Monash University Baseball Club (aka MUBC aka “the Farmers”) operates as a sporting club under the auspices of TeamMONASH, and is the only University baseball club in Australia to play both winter and summer  seasons.

We play on Saturdays during the Winter season (March-August), and Sundays during Summer season (September-February). Our training is on Wednesday nights.

We accept players of all skill levels (from beginners/rookies to Claxton Shield and minor league players). In particular we strongly encourage players who’ve never played baseball before to join us and learn about the great game of baseball.

Apart from Rookie Day (where we encourage rookies to learn the game), we have an extensive social program with regular BBQs, trivia nights, burger nights and big social events.  We have a proud history at Uni Games (also known as IV, and now known as the National University Championships), Other Monash students who play with other baseball clubs in Victoria are more than welcome to play with us at these tournaments.

We celebrated its 50th year in 2013 with a flag, and have a proud history in both Victorian summer and winter competitions (including 6 consecutive A Grade flags in the early 80s).  Have a look at our club origins and history to get a better feel.

If you have any questions, comments or would like to join us for the season please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us! Please also see our facebook page for more detail.
