Varsity Basketball gives you the opportunity to compete for Team Monash against other Universities around Australia.

It provides a great opportunity to compete alongside fellow Monash students and improve your skills.

If you are currently training or competing, we would love to have you on next year's Varsity Basketball Team!

Varsity Opportunities 

Each year our team competes against other Universities nationally at renowned events such as Big Blue Exhibition matches and UniSport Nationals. We would like to congratulate all athletes who represented Monash in 2023! Competition dates for 2024 are as follows:

Date: 7-13 September
Location: Canberra, ACT

Date: 6 March
Location: Monash University Clayton Campus

3x3 Basketball UniSport Nationals 2024
Date: 2-4 July
Location: University of Sunshine Coast, QLD

3x3 Basketball Try-outs 

Trial #1:

Wednesday 10th of April 2024 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Express your Interest

If you wish to seize the opportunity to don the Monash colours, unite with fellow students, and create memories that will last a lifetime, make sure to register your interest by completing the Expression of Interest form in Semester 1 2024.
