Amnesty International Monash aims to educate and inspire students to engage in important social issues.
As a branch of Amnesty International Australia, Monash Amnesty aligns itself with broader goals of Amnesty International Australia and campaigns for key issues that Amnesty International Australia identifies as urgent and to be of key importance. Key campaigns have been Aboriginal Homelands, Arms Trade Treaty (which opened for signature in May 2013), Refugee Rights, Women's Rights in Egypt and more.
