100% of registrations fees and any money raised from the Wings for Life Event funds Spinal Cord research and finding a cure. 

Currently at Monash, there is research being conducted on ZebraFish to attempt to find a cure for Spinal Cord Research. This research project is funded by Wings for Life. How awesome!

Other projects that Wings for Life fund:

• Brain-controlled spinal cord stimulation to alleviate gait deficits in people with paraplegia (Tomislav Milekovic, University of Geneva, Department of Fundamental Neuroscience, Geneva, Switzerland)
• Antibodies against Nogo-A to enhance regeneration and functional recovery after acute spinal cord injury- a multicenter European clinical proof of concept trial (Norbert Weidner, Heidelberg University Hospital, Heidelberg, Germany)
