Competition Format

7-week competition commencing July 27: First 6 weeks of group stages with the top team in each group progressing to playoffs in week 7 in a single elimination bracket.

Monday - Thursday from 6pm.

Exact start and finish times will be dictated by the number of teams entering the competition and group sizes. This will be finalised upon close of team nominations and updated on the
website.

Teams and game structure

Each university will be able to nominate and enter up to two teams for each competition (game title).

Teams will consist of a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 4 (1 nominated sub per team) across ALL games.

Substitute players can only be made between fixtures not during a fixture.

Super Smash Bros. and FIFA 20:

For both titles, each fixture will consist of three separate games.

It will be randomly generated as to which player plays from each team per fixture.

The winning team for that fixture will be the team that wins the most games.

Rocket League

Each fixture will consist of 3 games. All 3 team members will play on the same team for each
fixture. The winning team for that fixture will be the team that wins the most games.

Forza Motor Sport 7

Each fixture will consist of one endurance race (50 Laps) over varying courses. Each team
member will be allocated to a race with a pool of 8 drivers.

Upon finishing the race, each player will be allocated points based on their finishing position in
that race. 1st place will be awarded 16 points, with 8th place being awarded 1 point (final point
score tbc). A cumulative point score will be kept for each team member and team over the 6
weeks of group stages.

Upon completion of the group stage, the top 4 teams (with the highest cumulative point score)
will progress through to semi-finals in the final week of competition.

Note: Full competition guidelines will be available for each game on the competition website
from the 1 July.
