This year 5000 student athletes from Universities across Australia descended on Perth to compete in the 2022 UniSport Nationals from the 24th – 30th of September in an epic showdown!
Team Monash had some of Australia's best student athletes competing in Monash's 28 representative teams bring home a total of 42 medals in sports from table tennis to taekwondo!

For every UniSport Nationals Campaign, two students are selected to lead, motivate and represent all student athletes. This year Lauren Pannunzio and James Allen were chosen as shining examples of Monash spirit both on and off the field.

For women in sport, the road has been paved with both victories and obstacles. From internal battles with self-confidence and the fear of failure, to a lack of funding and awareness, female athletes continue to navigate unique challenges in their pursuit of a successful career in the industry. Monash University's ‘Women in Sport Network’ is confronting these challenges directly through its Semester 2 Leadership Series.
The Monash University women’s volleyball team has proudly brought home the gold medal from the UniSport Nationals in Canberra, firmly cementing their status as one of the most dominant teams in the competition.
