Bec’s debut into athletics was a complete fluke after watching her cousin’s race after gymnastics one Saturday and thinking it looked like fun. By 14, she was already finishing at an impressive time of 53.44 for 10km.

Two years later, she was selected to represent Australia at the 2018 World Race Walking Champs in China and the World Triathlon Championships. Closer to home, she has also competed in a number of National Championships. This year will mark her debut at the renowned Olympic Games.
