Monash is committed to helping students combine academic success with sporting or performing arts success. We know that for an elite athlete or performer, your ATAR might not accurately reflect your ability and we acknowledge the commitment and time it takes to be at the elite level and how this can affect your studies.
If you're an elite athlete or performer, you may be eligible for Monash University’s Elite Student Performer Entry Scheme.
Additional consideration for up to 10 ATAR points can be given for entry into Monash University undergraduate and graduate degrees to applicants who:
are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
are recognised as an elite athlete or performing artist by one of the Recognised Organisations (listed below)
meet the prerequisites (and any other published entry requirements) of the course
can demonstrate that they have undertaken elite training, competition and/or performances whilst preparing for entry to Monash University.
Applications for the Entry Scheme in 2024 closed on Friday October 20.
Late applications cannot be accepted.
Applications for the Support Program for currently enrolled Monash students (different to the Entry Scheme) remain open all year round, please visit this page for more details.
