Monash at the Footy!

AFL is one of the biggest sports in Australia, and Monash University and the St Kilda Football Club are delighted to bring you some wonderful AFL "Footy" opportunities in 2024.

Throughout the year students have access to various discounts, offers and giveaways, providing opportunities to get involved in Australia's favourite sport!

AFL - Men

The St Kilda Football Club are proud to offer Monash University students and staff FREE access to the Monash Saints Pass in 2024!

Saints Pass is a free membership for Monash students and staff that gives direct access to inner-sanctum offers and updates from the St Kilda Saints. This includes:

  • FREE tickets (General Admission access to two home games!)

  • Discounts from St Kilda sponsorship partners

  • Bonus events

  • Behind the scenes content

  • Invitations to digital events 

  • Player Q&A's

The first five home games at Marvel Stadium are:

  • Round 6: Thursday 18th April,  7.30pm: v Bulldogs @ Marvel Stadium 

  • Round 8: Saturday 4th May, 4.35pm: v North @ Marvel Stadium 

  • Round 10: Saturday 18th May, 7.30pm: v Freo @ Marvel Stadium 

  • Round 13: Saturday 8th June, 7.30pm: v Gold Coast @ Marvel Stadium

Once you have completed the above registration form, the following occurs:

  • you will be set up with a 2 game membership by the St Kilda Saints Football Club - this can take up to a week.

  • you will receive an email with further details about setting up your membership app and accessing your tickets

  • the membership will give you 1 x General Admission ticket to two home games via the Saints App.

  • tickets are generally available 72 hours prior to a game and must be downloaded/activated prior to a game to avoid missing out.

Please note: For access to tickets to the game on Thursday April 18 against the Bulldogs, registration applications must be submitted by on Tuesday April 16. Unfortunately registrations after this time may not be be processed in time for this specific game.

AFL - Women

The AFLW season ended on Sunday December 3rd 2023, with the Brisbane Lions securing their second premiership in the AFLW.

We've had the pleasure of attending multiple AFLW games and we can't wait to bring as many Monash students as we can to the next AFLW season!

Celebrating our Student athletes at the 61st Blues Awards

Last Friday, the 61st Annual Blues Awards was held at Monash University. Over 100 people attended to celebrate the awarding, which went to 82 athletes across 14 different sports.  The Blues Awards have been running since 1963, and are awarded to athletes in recognition of their exceptional achievements while representing Monash University. Many of our past recipients have competed in the Olympics, World Cups or have set new records.

Semester one's Orientation Week in 2024 turned out to be an absolute triumph, captivating tens of thousands of students across our vibrant campuses. The atmosphere was electric as free food, an abundance of sports, and the beloved Team Monash mascot 'Dash' added a delightful touch to the festivities, spreading joy among both first-year students and those who joined in the 4 day event.
