Last month, Monash Communications graduate Laetisha Scanlan qualified for the Tokyo 2021 Australian Shooting Team.

Tokyo will be Scanlan's second Olympic Games and the expectation for the world number 10 is a medal.

She will be competing in the Mixed Team trap event alongside partner James Willet. Tokyo will be the Olympic debut for the Mixed Team trap event and Scanlan and Willet will be the team to beat.

The dynamic duo won the 2019 World Championships and will be hungry to add an Olympic medal to their tally.

Scanlan is the defending three-time Commonwealth Games Gold medallist in the Women’s trap.
