AFL Football Club (Blues)

Founded in 1962, the Monash Blues Football Club (the 'Ashes for short), is the premier Victorian Amateur Football Association Australian Rules football club of Monash University. In 2001, the Monash Whites Football Club joined forces with the Monash Blues and competes as the Club XVIII.

Women's football teams were introduced in 2017 and have become an integral part of the club as the program continues to grow. Currently there are two official women's teams and the capacity to enter a third team. The men's program offers an Under 19's team and Seniors, Reserves, Thirds and Fourths teams.

As a Club, we take pride in the services we offer to Monash Blues footballers. Our extensive network of past players regularly provides career advice and an introduction to job opportunities. The Club also offers current players use of the University's state of the art gymnasium, boxing room and aquatic centre. Our training facilities are recently superb and our home ground is the envy of all amateur clubs.
