Inter-varsity events:
Intervarsity sport in Australia dates back to the late 1800's and is often the highlight of a students Uni Life!
We provide students with the opportunity to represent the University in a variety of regional, national and international competitions, such as the Big Blue, Varsity Challenge, Uni Nationals and World Uni Championships.

Monash Success at the Big Blue Multi-Sport Varsity Challenge
The first of the Big Blue Varsity Challenge Multi Sport events kicked off at Monash’s Clayton on Monday 15 April with teams from Monash University and the University of Melbourne battling for the win.
Celebrating our Student athletes at the 61st Blues Awards
Last Friday, the 61st Annual Blues Awards was held at Monash University. Over 100 people attended to celebrate the awarding, which went to 82 athletes across 14 different sports. The Blues Awards have been running since 1963, and are awarded to athletes in recognition of their exceptional achievements while representing Monash University. Many of our past recipients have competed in the Olympics, World Cups or have set new records.
