Sannie started dancing Hip Hop in 2020. In just four years, her dedication and talent have shown through as she attended numerous workshops, joined competitions, and performed at many events. She achieved notable results, including making it to the top 8 in Funkadelics First Cycle, Body Rhythm (Hip Hop Rookie 1v1), as well as Rhythm of the Lite (Open Style 1v1). Her biggest win is the championship at Step by Step Vol 3 (Hip Hop Rookie 1v1).

Classes: Latin/Ballrom (Beginner, Intermediate)

Irina is a Professional Ballroom Dancing teacher. She has experience for more than 25 years, teaching from beginners to advance, specializing in Standard and Latin American styles. Originally from Minsk, BELARUS, Irina is a former World class competitor and Byelorussian 10 Dance and Standard champion. After a successful international Amateur career in Europe, she turned Professional in Australia. Irina was a finalist in all major Australian Dancesport Championships in the Professional division (Standard and Latin American), including the Australian Open Championships.

Jackson started dancing Swing in 2018 and began teaching it at MDS in 2021, infusing his classes with energy and fun. His journey into Zouk began at the 2018 Intervarsity competition, where he was captivated by the dance’s emotional depth and connection. This passion led him to win the Zouk competition at the same event in 2023. With 5 years of experience in Argentine Tango, Jackson appreciates its intimate, connection-focused nature. He guides students through its unique style, providing them with the technique and tools needed to explore the dance creatively and expressively.

Kanisha has a professional training in Contemporary, Jazz, and improvisation from Dance Inc. India, where she trained for 3 years. She performed with the La Crest Performing Unit and also worked as a Marketing Analyst and Assistant Instructor. Kanisha has showcased her talents at major events like the Electricity Summit, World Dairy Summit 2022, Top Music Awards, G20, and National Conference of Ministers of Youth Affairs and Sports. In her classes, Kanisha creates a fun and dynamic environment where curiosity is encouraged. Students can expect an engaging experience that blends contemporary techniques with choreography. She is excited to share her passion for dance at MDS and looks forward to making unforgettable memories together!

Breezy, a distinguished hip-hop dancer, teacher, and choreographer from the Philippines, boasts nearly a decade of experience within the dance community. With a notable history as a competing crew member, he proudly represented the Philippines on the global stage four times. Breezy has earned numerous titles, particularly excelling in hip-hop battles, solidifying his reputation as a seasoned champion. Contributing significantly to the dance community, Breezy's teaching methodology revolves around his foundation in hip-hop choreography. His classes emphasize groove, vibe, and dynamic textures, providing students with an immersive learning experience. Since relocating to Australia, Breezy has eagerly embraced the opportunities and immersed himself in the local dance culture.

Alana began her dance training with Karen Stephens at Melbourne Dance Academy and furthered her skills at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance, performing at iconic Melbourne stages like Her Majesty's Theatre and Chapel Off Chapel. She later studied acting at Screen Actors Studios, landing roles in "Winchester," "Yummy Mummies," and "Underbelly." Her passion for burlesque and sensual theatre jazz led her to perform at renowned venues such as Red Bennies, Burlesque Bar, and Melbourne Fringe Festival. In 2019, she joined Paris Crazy Horse as an International Dancer. In 2022, Alana launched Synthwave Jazz, offering one-on-one professional development lessons. She began teaching group classes and performance courses at The Space Dance & Arts Centre in 2023, where she continues to innovate and inspire.

Sohini is an enthusiastic and motivated professional skilled in managing complex workloads with minimal supervision. She has a strong understanding of multicultural communities and a passion for community service. Sohini previously served as Operations Manager for Shiamak’s NGO "Victory Arts Foundation" in Pune, where she led workshops for differently-abled and underprivileged children. She is also a certified Yoga teacher trained at Sivananda Yoga Centre in Madurai and has choreographed and performed at Indian Film Festivals for Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra.

Adam has been immersed in the Latin dance scene for over 10 years, performing, competing, and teaching at numerous national and international events. He enjoys social dancing, performing, and choreographing. In his classes, Adam ensures everyone has a great time by frequently switching partners, helping students gain social skills and enjoy dancing while having fun.

Maxine is a passionate dance instructor who specializes in teaching K-POP and Street Jazz dance styles. Maxine began her training at a young age in Malaysia at different dance studios with local idols. After moving to Melbourne, Maxine began instructing dance classes at different dance studios and whilst also co-leading her own K-POP dance cover group @darecrewofficial which recently placed 1st in the KCC K-POP Dance Festival in Australia. The youtube channel has over 100k subscribers and Maxine’s dance covers have been reacted to by korean idols such as Alexa and Bvndit. Along her journey, she has been featured on MTV Australia and also performed at the BLACKPINK concert.
